Quests in the middle of no where.. - Guild Wars Forums

im trying to find some of the hard to find quests (especially skills quests for my mo/e)

basically i'm trying to find quests where the quest giver is neither in a town or right outside of a town/outpost. also, the quest giver's is not related to or a continuation of other quests.

the only one i could think of is a quest in the swamps of the kryta area where you have to defend someone against appearing shades.

anyone know of any more?

There's a guy in Neboo Terrace (~ between Beetletun and Bergen Hot Springs. Not far from Lion's Arch) that gives you a quest -- Inspector Someone.

I think the quest was called "The Hot Springs Murders". It involved questioning some of the NPCs at Bergen.

In the Ascalon Settlement area.....there is Farmer Dirk who has a quest for you.

oh yea, the pig one that got me murdered by ettins like 5 times....but I still got it in the end!

I just finally got did the quest from Artemis the Ranger in Traveler's Vale near Yak's Bend.
She's out in the wilderness, near the dwarf who gives you the Helping the Dwarves quests, but she always got killed by the monsters before I could talk to her.

If you go north from Gates of Kryta, and on your way to Lion's Arch, there is a guy in the middle of the swamp on a raised platform. He has a quest with a skill for each of your professions. You have to defend him from waves of nightmares.

All I remember is for elementalists he gives Inferno and for monks he gives Mend Ailment. At least I think that's what it was.
